Tenor By Night

Live Event, James Chiao, 14-piece orchestra

CMG provided a 14-piece orchestra to perform for the world premiere of Tenor by Night, the Musical. 14 sold-out shows were performed at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster and the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood during August and September 2018. This world premiere musical was inspired by the true-life story of its author, James Chiao, a Chinese immigrant who built an empire and a family before embarking on his secret fantasy: a career in music. Music and lyrics were written by James and Lily Chiao, then orchestrated and conducted by Charles Fernandez.
